THE NEW MISS ALABAMA IS DIANE WESTHOVEN

Miss Alabama went from Katherine Webb in 2012 to Diane Westhoven in 2024. Sara Milliken won a different competition called the National American Miss. There was obviously some confusion on social media with people rushing to be the first to report things, and not even getting it right. That’s why we don’t bother to include people’s tweets on this site, because half the time I gotta go back and correct them anyway. Or they delete the tweet when they realize it’s wrong and they look stupid. Anyway, Sara Milliken did not win Miss Alabama 2024, because Diane Westhoven won that.

CORRECTION, VIA SNOPES: “The winner of Miss Alabama USA in 2024 was Diane Westhoven. No one had won Miss America Alabama 2024 as of this writing. But Milliken competed in neither of those pageants. Instead, Milliken was crowned in the National American Miss contest.“
