Over 1.6 Million Fans Gather At Madonna’s Record-Breaking Concert In Brazil

To round off her Celebration Tour after performing in about 80 locations, pop icon Madonna held a free-for-all concert on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil— and the number of attendees had people talking. The grand finale show is reported to have drawn the most crowd of Madonna’s four-decade career.

According to Rio City Hall’s tourism agency, Riotur, about 1.6 million people were present to watch the Material Girl do her final gig. Diplo, Anitta, Pabllo Vittar, and Bob the Drag Queen also joined Madonna.

Despite her longtime music career and that she is turning 66 in August, Madonna has no plans to drop the mic soon. The Grammy-winning singer clarified to V Magazine during an interview that she hardly even thinks about her age. “I just keep going. I will not stop,” she told the outlet. “I will continue until it dissolves.”

She has also left a legacy via her daughter, Lourdes Leon, who is grooming a music career of her own as well. The 27-year-old, who goes by the stage name Lohalol, has the support of her famous mom, whom she looks up to.
